Atelier Culling is a software studio in Tokyo. Its focus is statistical analysis tools for Mac — built deliberately, one at a time.
Studio
Founded in 2026, Atelier Culling is an independent studio dedicated to Mac software. The studio works with a deliberate hand — a small number of tools, each considered from the start.
Every design decision and every line of statistical code comes from a single hand. No affiliations. That independence is the work.
Philosophy
An atelier is a workshop — a space where craft is practiced with attention. The name reflects how the studio works: each tool built deliberately, no detail left unexamined.
Culling names the act at the heart of statistical analysis: the selection of signal from noise. The studio builds instruments for that process — tools that clarify rather than obscure.
Every statistical function is written from first principles. No understanding without implementation. The interface follows the same logic — nothing present without purpose.
Products
Elenchus is the studio's first application — a statistical tool for Mac covering descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, regression, and visualization. Every function is written without external libraries. Available in English, Japanese, and French. Available now on the Mac App Store.
