No outside affiliations pull the work in other directions. That independence is what keeps each tool small, focused, and honest about its purpose.
Philosophy
An atelier is a workshop: the room where a maker keeps their tools and does the close work. The name is meant literally — it is how this studio runs, with no detail left unchecked.
Culling is the act at the heart of the work: pulling signal from noise, keeping what matters and letting the rest go. The apps are built for that act, whether the noise is in a dataset, a rough idea, or the instructions you give your tools.
Atelier Culling doesn't build software to take the thinking off your hands. It builds instruments for staying with that work.
Complex work has its own shape. In statistics, in product design, in work with AI, the hard parts are often where the meaning is. A good tool shouldn't sand them down; it should show enough of the structure that you can keep going.
Each tool is built for that. Elenchus shows a statistical result with the basis it rests on. Idea Inspector surfaces the assumptions, decisions, and tasks behind an idea. RefinerAI keeps the instructions your agents read legible, editable, and in sync.
When AI is part of a tool, it's there to sharpen a judgment, not to make it. The work stays visible, and the final act of understanding stays with you.
Every tool is built to keep that structure visible. The interface follows the same rule: nothing on screen without a reason.

Elenchus is the studio's first app: a statistics tool for the Mac, covering descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, regression, and visualization. It shows each statistic with its p-value and effect size, so you can check what you are about to cite before you cite it. In English, Japanese, and French, on the Mac App Store.
Idea Inspector turns a rough app idea into a plan. A room of agents works it from several angles and hands back the assumptions, the decisions, and a handoff your coding agent can build from. In development.
RefinerAI keeps the skills your coding agents read in one place: explicit, readable, kept up to date. Install a skill once, and Claude, Codex, and Cursor all read from the same source as it changes. In development.
